How do I get to Montreal

Montreal is home to an international airport, readily accessible from most Canadian and American cities. Daily flights to and from the city are serviced by Air Canada, Westjet, and Porter Airlines, among others. Various car rentals, taxis, and Uber transportation services will be available upon arrival. Montreal also has a metro and bus system, with stops and stations near the university.

For those joining by car, Montreal is:

• 2.75hrs from Quebec City;

• 2hrs from Ottawa; and

• 5.5hrs from Toronto

The conference itself will be held at the Université du Québec à Montréal. The campus is located at: 405 Rue Sainte-Catherine Est, Montréal, QC H2L 2C4. Events will also take place at the Grande Bibliothèque de Montréal,  475 Boul. de Maisonneuve E, Montréal, QC H2L 5C4.

To ensure comfort and access for people with reduced mobility visiting the Auditorium of the Grande Bibliothèque, six spaces (2 x 3 spaces) reserved for wheelchairs at the top of the tiered seating are accessible through the two main doors of the Auditorium (level R); and seats located in front of the first row, at stage level, are accessible through the dressing room door located on level M.
