The Student Network is dedicated to increasing our student and young lawyer membership and engagement. This page will serve as an important repository of upcoming events, opportunities and resources - so bookmark it and stay tuned!

And we are joined by an amazing group of students (from many different faculties, not just law!) and young lawyers across Canada.
Our mandate
It’s simple! To increase awareness and engagement with food law related matters, and create opportunities for those with a passion for food law.
More specifically, our mandate includes building a network, planning activities, supporting student groups in organizing food law and policy societies, coordinating student involvement in the annual CAFLP conferences, coordinating the CAFLP Mentorship Program and more.
Get involved
Our student and young lawyers network is growing every year, and we are happy to welcome anyone who has an interest in food law and policy. We have a number of current projects in the works, including a blog series canvassing foundational Canadian food law. There will also be opportunities to volunteer for the CAFLP’s upcoming Food Law and Policy Conference (our 6th!).
